Verist Fields carries a full range of adult-use cannabis products including flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, concentrates, tinctures, and topicals. We curate our selection with a focus on lab-tested products from licensed Minnesota producers.

The best starting point is telling your budtender what experience you’re looking for — relaxation, energy, sleep, pain relief or something social. From there, we’ll walk you through options based on your tolerance level and preferred consumption method, not
just THC percentage.

Indica, sativa, and hybrid are broad categories that were historically used to predict effects—indica for relaxation, sativa for energy. In practice, these labels are imperfect guides. Terpenes and your individual body chemistry matter more than the category label. Your budtender would love to help better understand what you’re looking for and find something that may be a good fit for you based on actual effects rather than just the category name. You can also read more about each of our cultivars (or strains…i.e. the plants themselves) on each product listing or in-dispensary.

For first-time buyers, we typically recommend starting with a low-THC flower, a 5mg edible, a low-dose beverage, or a 1:1 THC/CBD product. The golden rule is start low and go slow — you can always consume more.

A cannabis label in Minnesota includes the total THC and CBD content (in milligrams or percentage), the serving size, the batch number, and the lab testing information. The THC percentage tells you potency per gram of flower, while milligrams matter most for edibles and tinctures where you’re measuring doses.

THC percentage refers to the concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol — the primary psychoactive compound — per gram of product. A flower at 20% THC contains roughly 200mg of THC per gram. Higher percentages don’t always mean a better experience, especially for newer consumers — effects depend heavily on your tolerance, the terpene profile, and how you consume.

Under Minnesota’s adult-use cannabis law, individuals 21 and older can purchase up to 2 ounces (56 grams) of cannabis flower, 8 grams of concentrate, and edibles containing up to 800mg of THC in a single transaction. These are the current state-set limits — our staff can clarify specifics at the register.

Yes. Minnesota law requires all licensed dispensaries to carry products tested by an accredited third-party lab. Every product on our shelves has a certificate of analysis (COA) confirming potency and confirming it’s free of pesticides, heavy metals, and contaminants. You can ask to see the COA for any product.

Currently, we do not. But anticipate this coming soon.

You must be 21 or older to purchase cannabis at any licensed dispensary in Minnesota. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at the door for entry—no exceptions. Accepted IDs include a driver’s license, state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID.

Minnesota adults 21 and older can legally possess up to 2 ounces (56 grams) of cannabis flower in public and up to 2 pounds at home. For concentrates, the limit is 8 grams in public. Edibles are measured by THC content — up to 800mg in public. Home possession limits are higher; refer to the MN Office of Cannabis Management for full details.

You can consume cannabis on private property with the property owner’s permission. Consumption in public spaces, including parks, sidewalks, vehicles, and any space where smoking is prohibited, is not legal. Landlords and employers may have their own separate rules about use on their property.

Yes — any adult 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID can purchase cannabis at Verist Fields, regardless of where they’re from. Minnesota does not require state residency to buy cannabis at a licensed dispensary.

No. Transporting cannabis across state lines is a federal offense, even if both states have legalized cannabis. Cannabis purchased in Minnesota must stay in Minnesota. Do not travel with cannabis across state borders by any method of transportation.

Minnesota’s adult-use (recreational) program allows any adult 21 and older to purchase cannabis without a doctor’s recommendation. The medical program, which predates adult-use legalization, provides additional protections and higher purchase/possession
limits for patients with qualifying conditions. Verist Fields currently serves recreational customers — if you have questions about the medical program, the MN Office of Cannabis Management is the best resource.

Yes. Verist Fields holds a Minnesota adult-use cannabis retail license issued by the Office of Cannabis Management. Every product on our shelves comes from licensed Minnesota producers and has been tested by a state-approved third-party laboratory.

We evaluate products based on lab results, terpene profiles, producer practices, and how the products actually perform for our customers. We prioritize licensed Minnesota- grown and Minnesota-produced cannabis where available, and we look for consistency in quality across batches — not just a high THC number on the label.

We do not. Our focus is on offering fair, transparent pricing on quality, lab-tested products rather than a price-match model. If you have a question about pricing for a specific item, ask us in-store and we’re happy to answer any questions that we can.

Verist Fields is grown, not manufactured. Our cannabis comes from our 4th-generation Minnesota family farm — living soil, sun-grown, seed-to-sale — and that difference shows up in every product on our shelf. We’re not a chain. We’re a neighborhood dispensary in South Minneapolis built on the belief that cannabis should be trusted, joyful, and worth seeking out.
